StormWise Expert 2D Overland Flow:
- December 9th - 10th, 2025
Our 2-day StormWise Expert workshop will focus on building 2D overland flow models in StormWise.
The course will open with a background presentation on the computational framework of StormWise’s 2D Overland Flow module. Participants will then engage in a series of progressive, hands-on exercises designed to construct a 2D overland flow model from the ground up. Each exercise will build upon the last, gradually introducing key concepts in 2D overland flow modeling and demonstrating how StormWise’s integrated tools can be leveraged to efficiently simulate and analyze complex hydrologic systems!
Extensive course materials are provided; the cost is $2,500 for two days.
It is not required, but it is recommended that attendees have a basic understanding of the StormWise software, as well as conventional hydrology and 1D hydraulics prior to attending this workshop, as these will not be covered in this course.

"Warren, Cara, and Nash were awesome! The written/reference material for each lecture was awesome too. As a visual learner, I personally loved the cross sections of the drop structures and French drains and they helped a lot. Thank you all for a great and helpful course!"
Virtual Training Workshop Attendee -
"The workshop was extremely helpful and very detailed. The student led portion on the second day was great because it allowed students to get actual 'hands on training' after a block of instruction."
Virtual Training Workshop Attendee -
"The instructors were really great, clear and patient. I learned a lot that I hope to bring back to my group. To add, I also realized I may not have modeled previous projects accurately, which I would not have otherwise known had it not been from the learnings I took away from the virtual training workshop."

"The course was very in depth and covered many aspects of the software. I think the presenters were very knowledgeable and know a lot about the program."
