This transformative project, commissioned by the Manatee County Public Works Stormwater Division, marks a significant milestone in enhancing the county’s ability to forecast, prepare for, and mitigate the impacts of coastal flooding.
Designed to address the unique challenges of storm surge and tidal flooding, the FloodWise system delivers critical insights several days in advance. FloodWise represents a significant leap forward in coastal resilience, empowering Manatee County and communities from coast to coast to address the growing challenges of shifting climate patterns and the increase in major storm events.
